After so many years of frustration, I finally decided to add a string adjuster to my A string. But I did not want the regular string adjuster with a long prong to hold ball end of the string. When I read description on this adjuster, I was very intrigued. I watched the accompanying video five times and finally decided to order two for E and A strings. Now that I have installed them, I was so worried that A and E strings’ ball ends might pop out. A week into it, they have not. I am still worried but would like to order a few more for my other violins. I am using smaller top screws but will replace with bigger ones (they are also included) as I seem to have difficulty grabbing the small ones during quick adjustment.
